Description
Our Pasture Raised Kune Kune Pork are grown foraging on a large pasture with abundant clover, woodland plants, and seasonal fruit trees and berries. These pigs are true foragers, and only get a “snack” of commercial bread/grain before they go to bed in the evenings. The result is a dark and flavorful meat with less fat than grain fed pork. It is also much higher in Omega-3 oils (The healthy oils found in wild fish).
These pork halves are from 15 month old pigs, but the size is still much smaller than factory pigs, with the hanging weight for a half at about 50#
Cost with basic cut and wrap is $6/lb based on actual hanging weight.
Each half has custom cut options.
